Wedding at Scout Rock in Oakland

We always talk about loving to work in our own backyard and Melissa and Josh's wedding at Scout Rock in Oakland reminded us why. The property has a lovely home and so many beautiful spaces sprinkled throughout the grounds. Even better, Scout Rock is just in Montclair, right off Highway 13. Who knew?! Melissa and Josh both got ready on the property and then held a sweet ceremony, complete with a lemon tree planting. Afterwards we rolled into the rest of the evening and really enjoyed ourselves shooting away as folks had fun connecting and wishing the couple well. Thanks to Mélodie and her crew over at and something blue everything went smoothly.

We can't wait to shoot more at Scout Rock in the future and want to wish Melissa and Josh all the best.

Nonprofit Headshots in Oakland

Earlier this Summer we worked with a nonprofit in Oakland that was interested in updating their website with natural light headshots of their entire staff.  After consulting with their creative team we worked out a convenient location near their downtown office and coordinated a handful of shoot dates. On the day of our shoot, we worked with each employee closely to find poses and expressions that were comfortable for them and provided each person with 5 to 7 final edited images for them to choose from.

Wedding at Happy Acre Farms and Wente Vineyards

Our friends, Matt and Helena, recently tied the knot and we just wrapped up the images. These two are super easy going and down to earth and they approached their wedding day stress free and ready to have fun. They had their wedding at Happy Acre Farms and Wente Vineyards in Livermore and we're so happy we could be there.

Earlier in the summer, we met up with this little family and took some lifestyle family portraits at their home in Burlingame. While most of our sessions take place on location at nearby parks, we love capturing everyday moments at home. We spent an hour or so with Michelle and her family and took photos of the three them just hanging out. The results yielded plenty of super cute and candid shots!

Wedding at the Tulip Garden in Golden Gate Park

Last month we photographed Dave and Christine's wedding at the Tulip Garden in Golden Gate Park. We met these two about a year ago when we took photos of their friends wedding up near Point Reyes. We were really excited when they reached out to us and couldn't wait to be part of their day. Dave and Christine's wedding ceremony took place at the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden on the edge of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. After a short and sweet ceremony the bride and groom and their guests made their way across the street to the Beach Chalet for some good food and dancing. Congratulations Dave and Christine!
