Wedding at the Camron-Stanford House

This one was as close to home as they come! Marko and Nicole had their wedding at the Camron-Stanford House in downtown Oakland over looking Lake Merritt. The couple was a referral from a friend of Chris' and it turns out Christian’s kids and Nicole's kids go to the same school!

The Camron-Stanford House, in our opinion, is one of the best outdoor wedding venues in Oakland. It’s a beautiful 19th century mansion situated on the shores of Lake Merritt with lakeside views to boot. Wedding ceremonies take place outside on the lawn overlooking the lake and come reception time guests enjoy the romantic lights and the sunset glow of the Oakland hills. The best part, we think, is that weddings at this historic gem help preserve the mansion for years to come. What better way to truly appreciate our awesome town and celebrate a piece of history.

Marko and Nicole’s wedding was a beautiful day with friends and family, good food, and lots of dancing. We really loved being part of their special day and we wish this great Oakland couple all the best.

Earlier this Summer we had the pleasure of photographing Paul and Sepi's San Francisco city hall wedding. Over the last few months we've spent a lot of time documenting ceremonies there and have loved exploring the historic building and finding new vantage points. Point Reyes Seashore Lodge Wedding

We had been looking forward to Adam and Stephanie's wedding at the Point Reyes Seashore Lodge since our first meeting together. We love spending time in Point Reyes and having the opportunity to shoot a wedding up there was really exciting for us. The grounds at the Point Reyes Seashore Lodge in Olema were surprisingly large and provided a lovely space for all of the day's activities. Adam and Stephanie put a lot of time into making sure their day reflected their relationship and all of their hard work really showed. From beautiful flower arrangements, heart warming vows, and even a handmade wedding dress, we loved it all. We had such a nice time working with Adam and Stephanie and wish them all the best.

Intimate wedding in Tilden Park

Dave and Carla are about as Oakland local as they come and being part of their intimate wedding in Tilden Park was such a great experience. This couple has been together forever and to watch them exchange vows under the towering redwoods in the presence of a small handful of friends and family was pretty amazing. After the ceremony we explored the park and found some nice light and back drops. We say it all the time but working in our own backyard will always be a favorite way to spend our work hours doing what we love. Chris and Christian

High School Senior Portraits in Oakland

We are so excited to show off these high school senior portraits we shot last week! We met Evelyn at Snow Park just off of Lake Merritt in Oakland and had a blast exploring the park and nearby neighborhood. Before we started, Evelyn told us how nervous she was but she did a fantastic job and was super photogenic. We look forward to working with more bright, young people and capturing more portraits like these.
