1. Are you available to shoot our wedding?

We hope so! Please fill out our contact form on our website and tell us a little bit about yourself and your wedding.  We will check our availability and schedule a time to meet with you in person.  We are oftentimes booked six months to a year in advance.

We are available to photograph weddings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.  We love to travel!

2. How would you describe your primary style of photography?

We photograph weddings in a natural, candid, and photo-journalistic style. We’ve always felt that the best way to capture a moment is to let it unfold naturally without much interruption. While certain situations may be helped along with some pose suggestions, most of our wedding coverage is very subtle and unobtrusive. For us, we feel that some of the best images that we’ve taken are those captured as they happened in the moment. This approach is the reason we became interested in photography to begin with and has helped us to document events for our clients.

3. What do you enjoy most about being a wedding photographer?

We have the best job ever! We love being part of such a joyous day and having an opportunity to capture details and moments that a couple will cherish for a lifetime.

4. What distinguishes you and your work from other photographers?

We consistently strive to create work that fulfills our creative passion. Our style is always growing and improving. The last thing we want our work to be is stale and redundant. We arrive at your event with a lighthearted, easy going approach and an excitement to capture every detail.

5. How many years have you been shooting weddings, and in how many weddings have you been the primary shooter?

We have been photographing weddings for six years and have photographed every one of them. The best thing about owning a small photo business is that we’re involved in every aspect of every shoot.

6. What or Who inspires you and informs your work the most?

We’re always trying to grow our work and create stronger images. We love following the online wedding community and keep tabs on other photographers throughout the country. We enjoy reading Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, and June Bug Weddings.

7. What kind of equipment do you use?

We shoot with professional grade digital SLR’s and have a variety of lenses that we work with.   While we do have lighting equipment, we prefer to shoot with natural light when possible.

8. Do you work from a shot list?

Yes and no.  We photograph family portraits at every wedding and ask that our clients provide us with a list of groupings to best capture these portraits.  As far as general shooting throughout a wedding, we are well versed on what to document and do not follow a list.

9. Is it less expensive if we have just one photographer at our event?

We photograph all events with two photographers.  We are a team and feel that two cameras and two angles are critical to get the best images of your event.

10. What do you enjoy outside of wedding photography?

Photography is a huge part of our everyday lives and practically follows us everywhere. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends. The Bay Area is an amazing place and has so much to offer. We spend our time traveling, biking, cooking, and drawing.
